I have been working as a Machine Learning Engineer with a strong focus on software development and data analysis. In my current role as a Research Associate at Durham College, I have had the opportunity to work on various projects that have enhanced my skills and expertise.

One of my notable accomplishments was developing a Natural Language Processing model using the BERT transformer model to categorize EU financial cases. This involved leveraging AWS and PyTorch to achieve an impressive accuracy rate of 88%. I also improved data engineering processes by creating efficient scripts with Regex and optimized dataset loading time by incorporating SQL.

I further showcased my abilities by optimizing code and improving the responsiveness of a web application using Python, Flask, HTML, and Docker. Additionally, I have experience working with RESTful APIs using Django and have collaborated with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide data-driven insights.

Moreover, I have developed expertise in computer vision and image processing, particularly in the field of vehicle and license plate detection. Through extensive research and algorithm development, I successfully implemented a high-performing machine learning model using YOLOv8, achieving exceptional accuracy and continuously optimizing its performance.

Prior to my current role, I worked as a Software Developer at Clover Infotech, where I developed and maintained software applications using Python and SQL. I also played a crucial role in designing secure and accessible databases and implementing effective database migrations and optimizations.

Furthermore, my experience as a Data Scientist on the platform Fiverr allowed me to work on diverse projects such as developing client-tailored chatbots, predictive models for finance, and data extraction scripts. I have also utilized NLP techniques to analyze sentiment from customer comments, providing valuable insights to clients.

Additionally, I completed a course in Artificial Intelligence Analysis Design and Implementation at Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario.
