  • Trained workforce for uploading / downloading PLC / HMI program of Allen-Bradley PLC using Rslogix 500, Rslogix5000, Studio 5000 & FactoryTalk for ensuring minimum downtime
  • Collected data (I/O count, logic, computational requirement) for upgradation of single-loop control system of Fuel Refinery to DCS
  • Managed interfacing of Siemens PLC (s7-300), Allen-Bradley PLC (ControlLogix5580) and ABB VFD (ACS 580) with Yokogawa DCS
  • Commissioned Yokogawa DCS of Fuel Refinery and two Boilers.       
  • Procurement, installation and commissioning of PLC (Schneider) based temperature monitoring system of Fuel refinery
  • Decoded ladder logic of a critical compressor of a platforming process unit, running on Siemens S7-300 PLC, to ensure minimum downtime of the process unit 
  • Gained in-depth knowledge about protection systems of compressors, furnaces, generators, turbines and boilers
  • Acquired practical knowledge of calibration / troubleshooting / maintenance of instrumentation field equipment (e.g. Emerson, Foxboro, Honeywell)

Education

  • Master of Engineering (MEng), with majors in control and software engineering, from Concordia University, Montreal, Canada (Duration: 2022 - 2024 (expected))
  • Bachelor of Engineering (BE), with major in electronics, from NED University of Engineering & Technology, Karachi, Pakistan (Duration: 2009 - 2012)
