Mya Ching'anda

I have a strong background in education, having served as a student teacher in 2 different schools as a team lead at YMCA after-school programs. My experience in facilitating hands-on learning and providing constructive feedback ensures that your child will receive excellent support.

i have worked in several placemnt schools hwere i have had the opportunity to work with students of all skill levels, ages, and abilities. i have learnt valuable skills from these experiences as well as during my time as an after school program team lead with the YMCA. Prior to this I worked at Fairport Montessori where i worked in the classroom setting as an assitant and was an assistant to the sport program. I also temporairly lead the sports program when the program leader was temporairly reloacted. finally I co-coordinates the Fairport Montessori Summer Camp. 

I have a healths cience background in Kinesiology where I gained a great depth of knwoeldge regarding movment mechanics and competencies and functional movment skills. I currently am a Teacher Candidate at Ontario Tech University preparing to teach biology and PhysEd at the Highschool Level.
