July 2022 to Present                     Consulting Drilling Supervisor                  Calgary, Canada.

Drilled a 3647mMD (1450mTVD) Hz oil well south of Calmar, AB for Rex Energy, utilizing an 800HP TDS rig. Drilling program consisted of drilling 311mm surface hole to +/- 250mMD and running 244.5mm casing; Drill 222mm intermediate hole through KOP1 at 275mMD and KOP#2 at 1158mMD to ICP at 1629mMD (88°Inc) and run 177.8mm casing; Drill out and directionally drill 156mm lateral section to FTD at 3647mMD; Run 114.3mm liner hanger assembly with frac ports spaced out as per program and cement same. Release rig.

Dec 2020 – Jun 2017      Real Time Drilling Decision Centre (RTDDC)               Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait. 

As DSV based in Deep Drilling Group’s (DDG) Real Time Drilling Decision Centre (RTDDC), monitored up to 15 wells simultaneously. Monitoring, analysis, and management of Drilling data for operational optimization; Liaise with Drilling Engineers and Rig Operations teams of monitored wells and provided, in real time, Observations, Operational Recommendations, Alerts, Engineering Support, and Lessons Learnt. Conducted and plotted Trip Load Analysis, Discrimination Charts, KPIs, Benchmarks, Performance Comparison Studies and identified operational deficiencies; Detect, identify and communicate potential drilling complications to rig operations team. Compiled and submitted daily RTDDC reports to concerned KOC teams.

Jun 2017 to Sept 2015                                      Drilling Supervisor                  Kuwait Oil Company, Kuwait. 

Drilled 7 deep HPHT wells in Abdali Field and Minagish Field utilizing 3000 HP Grey Wolf Rig 901 and Weatherford Rig 870 respectively. Typical program consisted of spudding 36’’ hole with 9.6ppg mud and drill to 30’ into top of Dammam Fm, run & cement 30’’ casing to isolate surface aquifers; Drill 28’’ hole to 50’ inside Mutriba Fm, run & cement 24’’ casing to isolate Dammam, Rus & Tayarat loss zones; Drill 22’’ hole to 200’ inside Zubair Fm, run & cement 18-5/8’’ casing to isolate Shuaiba loss zone; Displace to 10-13ppg OBM and motor drill 16’’ hole with PDC bit to top of Hith Fm, Log section then run & cement 13-5/8’’ casing; Drill 12-1/4’’ hole thru Hith & Gotnia Fm to +/-5’ inside Najma Fm, run & cement 10-3/4’’ liner and tie-back to surface; Drill out 9-1/4’’ directional hole thru Najma & Sargelu Fm down to F3 Base, run and cement 7-5/8’’ casing; Drill 6’’ directional hole building angle to 91deg in to Middle Marrat  Fm and drill to FTD at +/- 17800’, run and cement 5’’ liner & tie back 7-5/8’’ casing to surface.

Mar 2015 to Oct 2014                   Consulting Drilling Supervisor                    Magus Engineering, Canada. 

Drilled 8 extended reach Hz Monobore wells in West Central Alberta utilizing a 800hp ADR super single rotary rig. Program consists of running 9 5/8” casing to +/-1000’ in 12 ¼” surface hole & cementing; Nipple up 11’’ 21Mpa BOP stack and drill out with an 8 ¾” PDC bit, OBM and directional BHA; KO at +/- 4000’ and drill build section to ICP at +/- 5500’ at +/- 88°; Run 7” casing to surface and cement; Drill out lateral section with 6 ¼” PDC bit and directional assembly and drill to FTD at +/- 10,000’; Run 4 ½” liner with multiport frac string to surface with liner hanger and bridge plug near KOP; Conduct push/pull test; Tear out rig and move to next location.

Nov 2014 to Sep 2012              Consulting Drilling Supervisor               Corinthian Exploration Corp (USA). 

Drilled more than 35 extended reach Hz Monobore wells in West Central Alberta (Kaybob) and North Dakota (Williston Basin) for TriOil and Corinthian Exploration (USA) Corp respectively. Drilling program consisted of running 8 5/8” surface casing in 12 ¼” surface drilled to +/- 500’; Drill out 7 7/8” main hole & kick off at +/- 2100’; Drill build section to +/- 3800’; Drill lateral section to FTD at +/- 6500’; Run & cement 5 ½” production casing with Frac ports spaced out as per program.

 Sept 2012 to Aug 2011                   Consulting Drilling Supervisor           Pengrowth Energy Corp, Canada. 

Drilled (>20) +/- 4300m (+/- 14,000 ft) Hz oil wells North of Whitecourt, AB in Judy Creek area utilizing 800 HP Telescopic Double drilling rig. Drilling program usually consisted of drilling 311mm Surface Hole to +/- 615m (with Fresh Water and Gel mud system) and running 244.5mm casing; The 222mm Top Hole was drilled to 100m above KOP with KCL mud system then displacing hole to OBM for length of the Build Section landing at ICP (+/- 2750m) at +/- 82deg; After running the 177.8mm intermediate casing the cement displacement is done with KCL mud system in preparation to drill 156mm Lateral Section to +/- 4300m; Ream open hole Lateral Section and run 114mm Multiport Liner packer system; Set Anchor Packer; Displaced hole to Produced Water; Run 114.3mm Frac String and latch into liner; Opened bottom Frac port and squeeze 5m³ Produced Water into formation and recorded flow back; Rigged up wireline unit and run WR Plug with recorders; Tear out and moved to next location. 

Jan 2011 to Sept 2010                     Consulting Drilling Supervisor                   Calvalley Petroleum, Yemen. 

Worked in Block 9 drilling +/- 2500m wells in the Ruaidhat Field utilizing Joeco (Chinese) 1500hp rotary table drilling rig rated for 3000m. Casing run 339.7mm surface set at 530m; drill out with 251mm Smith IADC 425 Bit to FTD and run 7” Production casing & cement.

 July 2010 to Oct 2008                                        Drilling Supervisor                           Sirte Oil Company, Libya. 

Drilled (5) 8500"-12500" oil wells in the Wadi, Zelten, Atahaddi & Raghuba Oil Fields (NC 149 & FF 47) utilizing NWD ETA Rig #7 and ADWOC Rig #3 using WB & OB mud systems. Typical casing/liner runs: 13 3/8" surface to +/- 4500', 9 5/8" intermediate to +/- 8800', 4.5" production set @ +/- 12,500"

Sept 2008 to Aug 2007                              Drilling Supervisor                  Pan Ocean Oil Corp (POOC), Nigeria 

Drilled (2) 14000" wells (Adolo 1 and Adolo 2) in the Benin River Oil Field, near Benin City, utilizing KCA Deutag T57 1500 hp rig using WB mud system. Typical casing/liner runs: 9-5/8" surface to +/- 4500', 7" intermediate to +/- 9800', 4.5" production set @ +/- 14,000".

Jun 2007 – Nov 2002                  Consulting Night Drilling Supervisor             KC Wellsite, Calgary, Canada. 

As Consultant Drilling Supervisor, drilled > 75, 450m to +/- 3500m Vertical, Directional & Hz oil and gas wells in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (WCSB) using Water Based, Oil Based & UBD mud systems on 800 to 1000 hp rigs.
