Hi,

I am Nagappan Ramasamy Palaniappan having 20 years of relevant IT experience in Software design, development, enhancement, refactoring, maintenance, unit and functional testing of " C applications and kernel modules on Linux ".

Currently I am working for Oracle(India) in Linux sustenance engineering project 
My role involve - sustaining network kernel modules for Infiniband RDMA, RoCE, RDS-TCP and analyzing Mellanox network driver issues.

Also I have worked for client Cisco, for there Cisco WAAS product - it is an cloud-ready WAN optimization and application acceleration solution. I have developed and sustained kernel modules which implement 
1) data mover(zero-copy) between application socket in kernel level.
2) Filter bypass - Initial filtering connections component.
3) AOShell - To support and isolate the application-specific portion of the Application Optimizer, which also monitors/manage multiple FD’s of app via Kqueue(ported from Freebsd to Linux).

And my day today activities involve analyzing and fixing memory leak in slab allocation in kernel modules.
Also, I have expertise in analyzing kernel crash by using crash utility, drgn utility.

Also I have written eBPF script for observability in the bug fixing process for Linux network subsystem/kernel modules.
