With a strong background in customer service, team leadership, and administrative tasks, I bring a wealth of transferable skills to any role. While I may not have direct experience as a receptionist, my previous positions as a supervisor for a cosmetics business and a store manager for Carter’s in Uruguay have equipped me with the ability to provide exceptional client service, manage teams, and handle office technology efficiently.
Additionally, my time at Mercado Libre, a leading online marketplace in Latin America, allowed me to refine my communication skills as a customer service representative, where I effectively resolved client inquiries through written support. Most recently, I have gained experience as an Early Childhood Educator (ECE) in Uruguay and currently work as a nanny in Canada, where I have obtained references in English. I am now looking forward to new career opportunities in Vernon, where I plan to relocate to be closer to my partner. I am eager to contribute my skills and dedication to a new organization.
Experience
As outlined in my CV, I previously worked as a supervisor for a small cosmetics business and as a store manager for Carter’s in Uruguay, within a mall setting. These roles allowed me to work closely with clients, ensuring they received the highest level of service. Additionally, I gained proficiency in using office computer programs and payment devices. In both positions, I was responsible for leading a team, which often required me to handle difficult conversations and manage all aspects necessary to keep the team functioning smoothly.
Furthermore, I spent a year and a half working at Mercado Libre, a leading online marketplace and financial services company in Latin America. There, I served as a customer service representative in the chat area, resolving client issues through written communication. This role honed my ability to manage challenging situations efficiently while also requiring me to type quickly and effectively.
In addition to my practical experience, I am confident in my ability to adapt and learn quickly. I am highly organized, punctual, responsible, and respectful, with a strong ability to work well within a team. My social and positive attitude contributes to fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
