I have good communication skills as I can find different ways to communicate and am a very hard worker. I've worked at a summer camp as a camp counselor where I worked with many deaf and deaf plus children. This experience made me realize my passion for working with people

Two years ago, at DYT I worked with a camper with mutism, noticed the camper has difficulty with communication then I decided to create a system specifically made for the camper which involves only three words: Yes, No, and Bathroom. I purposely asked closed ended questions, and few days later camper was eventually comfortable enough to speak a full sentence with me. it was a very rewarding experience for me and showed me that I am good with strategizing and creating a system that is a good fit for each camper.
