I'm an internationally licensed occupational therapist who is looking for occupational therapy assistant jobs in Canada. I have an open work permit in Canada 

I started my career in a multispeciality hospital with a rehabilitation team of physiatrists, OTs, PTs, and SLPs.  I've handled traumatic brain injury in children, Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Downs syndrome, ADHD, and Learning Disabilities in a range of instances. I have also treated various neurological and neurosurgical cases such as GBS, Stroke, Spinal cord injury, and Traumatic brain injury.

Later, I worked in a Research Centre (MDCRC - Molecular Diagnostics Counselling Care & Research Centre) that researched Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. As an Occupational therapist, I have evaluated and trained the children diagnosed with DMD in a home exercise program to maintain a functional range of motion, transfer training, positioning, energy conservation, functional training, and ADL. Post that, I worked at a rehab clinic that treated musculoskeletal pain problems like chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia, which required posture and ergonomic correction. Eventually I started working independently.

I completed my bachelor's degree in occupational therapy in 2017 from “Tamilnadu Dr.M.G.R medical University -India”
