About Nermin Kassem:

I currently work as a Project Manager at E2F , a localization and data services company. I manage several types of AI projects (machine learning), such as Annotation projects, Data Collection projects, and Synthetic Data Projects, which require a high level of project planning, strong analytical abilities, and advanced problem-solving skills. I implement plans tailored to each unique project. In addition, such projects require high skills of risk management, agile methodology, managing conflicts, as well as managing large teams and resources. 

Experience

I currently work as a Project Manager at E2F , a localization and data services company. I manage several types of AI projects (machine learning), such as Annotation projects, Data Collection projects, and Synthetic Data Projects, which require a high level of project planning, strong analytical abilities, and advanced problem-solving skills. I implement plans tailored to each unique project. In addition, such projects require high skills of risk management, agile methodology, managing conflicts, as well as managing large teams and resources. 

Working as a supplier for Amazon (Amazon Web Services) helped me acquire outstanding communication and organization skills. Eventually, I have gained extensive experience working with many tools, including MS Excel, MS Word, MS Outlook, Google Sheets, Gitlab, Jira, CRM, Confluence, Audacity, XTRF, and Crowdin. Also, I’m currently pursuing Project Management Professional Certificate (PMP).

Prior to my current role, I worked as a Project Coordinator and operations analyst at CGI , which is one of the largest IT and business consulting services firms in the world. During my time at CGI, I shouldered several, Operations, HR (resource management 
) and project managements tasks. I worked on different projects with delivery managers through building project management plans and coordinating projects’ delivery. Also, I oversaw multiple aspects of implementing project operations. I worked closely with project managers to: develop project schedules; ensure team members have the necessary resources to complete activities; and communicate with stakeholders to provide project updates. 

Moreover, I currently work remotely with E2F, and therefore, I became very accustomed to working remotely and I consider myself to be a highly efficient and effective remote worker.  My qualifications include experience working as a Financial Analyst, which helped me have a deep understanding of the financial aspects of projects. 

Lastly, I’m bilingual, as I’m fluent in English and I’m a native speaker of Arabic.
