Nicole Henderson

I am currently finishing my third year of university at Trent University, where I am double majoring in Forensic Science and Anthropology. Forensic sciences is a passion of mine, as I plan to continue my education and complete my masters. I have always loved crime scene shows, as well as watching my mother in court cases during her legal career. 

I am looking for summer employment to help support me with the funding of my education! I also love to gain new work experience! 

I have worked in the retail and customer service industry since I was 14 (2016). 

My first job was working for Swiss Chalet, where I packaged takeout food and served customers at the front end where I took their orders and handled cash and card transactions. I had left this job due to them not giving me more than 3 hours a week after taking a leave to work at Camp McGovern for the summer (2018)

I then went onto Ardene Clothing at the end of the summer in 2018, where I had handled with cash and card transactions, while also dealing with returns. The reason I left in 2019 was due to the store closing

My next job was at Lowe's, working in customer service where I dealt with online orders, returns, cash and card transactions, and had helped customers with signing up for the store credit cars. I have great experience with working with customers, whether in store or by phone! I had left the workplace due to me moving to a new city for my post-secondary education. 

I have been attending post-secondary (Trent University) since, with the struggle of finding another job due to covid and the unemployment rate in Peterborough. 

I am Currently finishing my third year of my Bachelors of Science at Trent University in Peterborough
