Nicole Kuchle

Hi! My name is Nicole Kuchle, and I'm a 4th year Media Arts and Technology Major at Alberta University of the Arts.
As I approach graduation, I am refining my skills in graphic design, audio/video editing, sculpture, and fibre art. I am passionate about creative communication of all kinds, and am striving to apply my skills in the creative industry.

WORK EXPERIENCE 

Marshalls Drugstore Inglewood, — Drugstore Retail Employee MAY 2023 - SEPT 2023 (Summer Position) 

★ Fulfilled retail clerk duties at Drugstore/Pharmacy including POS, sales, and inventory management ★ Responsible for checking and approving narcotic deliveries before transferring order to Pharmacy ★ Used communication skills on a daily basis for customer service purposes

Canada Post , Marshalls Drugs Postal Outlet — Postal Clerk MAY 2023 - SEPT 2023 (Summer Position) 

★ Fulfilled standard postal clerk duties - managed input and output of mail, familiar with Canada Post digital system, customer service skills, problem solving to ensure maximum efficiency for customers

Hospice Calgary, Rosedale Hospice — Receptionist / Housekeeper MARCH 2020 - SEPT 2022 (transitioned to receptionist due to covid-19 restrictions on prior position) 

★ Fulfilled standard receptionist duties - directing calls, filing/organizing documents for pickup, shredding/disposing of confidential client information 

★ Providing potential clients with information on visitation, Covid-19 safety measures, and the services of the hospice. 

★ Responsible for all staff and visitor screening for Covid-19, and managing visitor numbers to ensure a safe environment for everyone in the hospice 

Casual Housekeeping at Sage Centre: 

★ Maintained cleanliness of all common areas to reduce risk of illness 

★ Washed/sanitized 200+ children’s toys monthly to ensure a safe and clean counseling environment 

Hospice Calgary, Sage Centre — Program Cook / Housekeeper OCT 2018 - MARCH 2020 

★ Cooked quality meals for the Living With Cancer Program, on average 30 people 

★ Grocery shopped for the meals cooked, worked around budget constraints 

★ Managed expense reports and recorded all receipts to stay within company budget 

★ Maintained cleanliness of all common areas to reduce risk of illness
