-Worked with a small team on developing a social media platform where users built their own profile website through a chain network where domains were free or purchased (eCommerce) yet users collectively shared the same framework

-Developed a software application where customers request clothing apparel and the apparel was created automatically through a 3D printer in another location and informed customers when the apparel was completed and ready for pickup

-Developed a franchisee software for a company franchise, owned by our CEO where employee duties were tracked and time managed for the store

-Completed several reporting applications for domains (including MSRP domains) and tracked through the application to increase sales

-Website development for over 20+ domains relating to the company’s ownership of the domain extension (.sucks) through which the company was discovered by Apple

- Official website and blog built for the company

-Developed the social media and marketing creative assets for the company’s .SUCKS network that was used broadly throughout all popular social media platforms including Facebook and Twitter.

-Built an application that controls the food menu (on-screen) at the franchise store

Lawton’s Drugs Corporate (Permanent - Full-time)

-Consulted with teams from all different sectors of technology in the company and worked closely with marketing on strategy for technological advancements for the company.

-Solely built Lawton’s MHCSI website for their Rx pharmaceutical platform that allows customers to get information and documents for their prescriptions

-Worked closely with the database team on web services to develop a software that retrieves all pharmaceutical vendor information for billions of prescription medications.

-Worked with the Sobeys team in Stellarton, Nova Scotia to convert Lawton’s previous generation platforms into .NET platforms that allowed cohesiveness throughout both companies

-Worked with Wordpress multi-site to manage the Lawton’s website with another team member in Ontario

-Lead two classes (30 students each) in a course in Rich Internet Applications that provided students with the necessary knowledge and tools of what it means to use online tools, frameworks and libraries that enrich the content of a website

-Graded students on their performance and encouraged them to excel in areas of content they felt was relevant to what they wanted from their degree

-As the country’s leading dairy producers, solely managed and worked with the warehouse on the development of a visitor software that allows entrance to the warehouse through technical sign-in where visitors are required to consult the front desk to gain access and enter with their ID.

-Worked with quality control and R&D on the development of software for their customer satisfaction platform where customers were able to produce input on their experience and the company was able to record the data and automatically mail out any incentives for their data and feedback

-Closely interlocked with the Networking team and Director in Newfoundland, Canada regarding any technical improvements including the upgrade of their hardware systems

-Worked with our team on the institution of the ERP system, Infor that manages their day-to-day business solutions

-Created and managed their social media presence online through Facebook and worked closely with the Marketing team on content delivery

-Worked and project managed with Colour (a third-party corporate website development agency) to implement the new website

-Was provided training in California twice for the use of IBMi, the companies preferred method of technological use for both internal and external applications and management systems

-As owner and founder of NSWD, my background is as a self-taught internet programmer from the age of 13, owning a business has always been a lifelong dream

-Received sponsorship through online companies before legally being able to work in the field

-Officially started working with clients through consulting work and website development making the executive decision to leave university after graduating high school as an honours student

-Worked with a group of 20+ females around the world for technical solutions for MySpace through website developments before turning 21

-By the age of 22, sold my first big website build online to a client in California

-Consulted and built websites through contract work and online presences for other small businesses the following years, eventually landing me a full time contract position for an internet company based in Ottawa, Canada and the Turks and Caicos

-A great example of one of my favorite companies is Beechbrook Campground, Nova Scotia - a client for many years. Beechbrook thrives on their website presence which allows them to reach full capacity every camping season due to their online presence which has now reached over 1 million views on Google due to their connection with Nicole Sawler Website Development
