About Nirmala Maharaj:

On a personal level, I am passionate about playing cricket, reading and hiking.  I also enjoy giving back to my community and have been involved in supporting various charities over the years.  As a married individual who loves dogs, I appreciate the importance of a positive work-life balance.

In my previous roles at Irving Tissue, ANSA McAl and Arthur Lok Jack Global School of Business, I have gained experience in HR functions such as recruitment, employee relations, performance management and talent development.  I have also led various HR initiatives that have resulted in improved employee engagement and retention rates. 

With over 7+ years of relevant experience, I have developed a strong business acumen and the ability to effectively manage complex change management issues. I also possess a deep understanding of internal and external regulations and operating practices for organizations and businesses.
