Responsibilities

• Understanding the testing efforts by analyzing the requirement of the project and accordingly provide estimate and budget for projects.
• Identifying scenarios, preparing traceability, preparing test plan, reviewing test cases, obtaining sign offs from business and preparing exit reports
• Arranging triage calls for application issues and analyze the root cause.
• Perform and oversee test execution, assigning tasks to testing team members and mentoring and wherever required.
• Lead the planning and execution, defect management & tracking in HP ALM and act proactively in System and Integration testing.
• Tracking overall testing progress and creating metrics to measure and monitor product performance.
• Preparing weekly deck and WSR for the client regarding various projects to ensure everything is mapped and on track.
• Running Automated test scripts for application health check regularly in different environments for regression perspective.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed Test Scenarios and Test cases using TestRail according to the software specifications.
• Provides daily progress report of test execution status, debugging methodologies and discussed complex issues regarding ongoing test process in daily stand-up meeting.
• Performs Functional, System, Cross Browser and Regression tests.
• Tests web-services of the application through POSTMAN.
• Converts test cases into automated test scripts using TestNG framework, Java and Selenium Webdriver for Functional, Regression and Smoke testing. 
•  Log defects with proper priorities and severities using JIRA and ensure that defects are correctly captured, reviewed, prioritized, and triaged to assign resources
• Generate comprehensive test report and defect report after each release of new version of application to display Priority and Severity of defects.

• Reviewed software and business requirements to understand workflow and processes for successful testing.
• Created detailed Test Scenarios and Test cases according to the functional requirements.
• Participated in daily scrum meetings to update status and obtain updates of changes in project
• Proactively documented and reported issues in JIRA and maintained ownership until resolution
• Performed Functional, Cross Browser and Regression tests.
• Worked closely with software development team to ensure defects are fixed and incorporated into product builds
• Responsible for writing test cases to test the software application functionalities within a scrum testing environment.
