Normand Halde

I recently retired from working for the United Nations as Chief of Staff and Senior Planning Officer in a peacekeeping mission.  As I am only 62 I am looking forward to keeping working.  I have extensive knowledge of dealing with staff issues. I am fluently bilingual (English and French).

My more than 15 years of experience working in various international organizations and more specifically with senior management has provided me with both the experience and knowledge for this position. I recently retired from being  Chief of Staff as well as Senior Planning Officer for a peacekeeping mission in Somalia with the same experience previously in Haiti in another peacekeeping mission. In Haiti, I also served as senior advisor to senior management and was also a legal adviser to the Mission (graduated with a Law Degree).  I have experience dealing with sensitive issues, including personnel issues.  I have also been involved in the preparation of peacekeeping missions' budgets (with an average budget of 500M to 900M$). I also have extensive knowledge and experience in restructuration and downsizing of personnel as well.

I am fluent speaking both French and English.

Law Degree from University of Quebec in Montreal.
