I am passionate and high-motivated about scrum. Over the past 7+ years I have developed excellent interpersonal and communication skills, I am driven, adaptable, and supportive and these are a few of the skills which enable me to effectively facilitate meetings and coach my team into becoming high-performing and cross-functional. I have proficiency in  Scrum, Extreme Programming (XP), Scaled Agile Framework (SAFE), and Kanban with technical hands-on experience in Data Analysis with Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL).

 Over the past 7+ years I have developed excellent interpersonal and communication skills. I started my journey to becoming a scrum master when I worked in the health industry as a business analyst, there I was exposed to the tremendous impact the utilization of scrum methodology can have on the productivity of the team. Having a natural inclination for leadership and problem-solving I decided to become a scrum master myself. I took several courses and studied religiously. I joined a community of practice and soon we learnt by exchanging ideas, mentorship and coaching. When there was an opening for a scrum master role. I applied and got the job. Since then, I have worked the communication and technology industries, honing my skills whilst striving to become the best version of myself.

When starting off my journey to becoming Agile, I first became the Scrum Fundamental Certified created by Scrum Study in a bid to under the basics of what scrum was. After this I took the Professional Scrum Master (PSM 1) by Scrum.org to broaden my knowledge before finally becoming SAFe scrum master certified issued by Scaled Agile to better understand the implementation in large scale projects. My derive for continuous growth made me take the Introduction to coding using HTML, CSS, and Javascript by Shecodes because I wanted to better understand and communicate with my team.
