support the technical and clinical aspects of dialysis treatment. I assist with equipment cleaning, component replacement, and patient setup, and am actively involved in water treatment system maintenance, infection control, bacterial/endotoxin testing, AV access assessment using ultrasound and transonic measurements, and home dialysis system setup, all in accordance with CSA standards.

Dialysis Den - QR Code Solutions, Durham College, Oshawa, ON (September 2024 –
Present)
• Developing a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and Lean Business Canvas to integrate
QR codes with component-specific diagnostic guides for dialysis machines, reducing
equipment downtime. • Enabling technicians to scan QR codes for efficient access to
maintenance logs and error code histories, streamlining troubleshooting processes.

 


Biomedical Technologist Assistant, Kingston Health Sciences Centre, Kingston,
ON (July 2024 - August 2024)
• Performed preventative maintenance, inspections, testing, and calibration of medical
equipment, including Neonatal Warmers, Vital Signs Monitors, Infusion Pumps, and
Defibrillators.
• Contributed to the MASIMO-Vital Signs Monitor project, conducting incoming
inspections and installing mounting hardware for over 700 monitors across Kingston
General Hospital and Hotel Dieu Hospital.
• Responded to service and repair requests within 24 hours, ensuring minimal
disruption to patient care.

 


Dialysis Technologist (Student Placement), St. Joseph’s Hospital, Hamilton, ON April
2025 - June 2025
• Conducted preventive maintenance, priming, and calibration of the Baxter Artis Physio
Dialysis System to ensure safe and effective patient treatments in compliance with clinical
standards.
• Performed troubleshooting and routine maintenance on dialysis equipment to maintain
optimal functionality.
• Inspected and maintained the Reverse Osmosis (RO) water system, ensuring water
purity and system performance for hemodialysis treatments.
• Collaborated with healthcare team to complete functional checks and disinfection
