Ouiam Meftah

Hi, I am Ouiam, I completed a B.Sc in Ecology at Concordia University in Montreal. I completed a Masters degree at Université Laval in Public Health ( Environmental Health). My passions for sciences and wildlife lead me to pursue environmental studies where I learned about the direct impacts of human actions on all ecosystems. That's what drove me to want to be part of the solution rather than the problem. I dream to make healthy and sustainable lifestyles accessible for all: visible minorities, the middle class, and disadvantaged neighborhoods. The fight against the environmental crisis should not be a privilege but rather a priority. My experience working with Sustainable Youth Canada taught me a lot about the different ways we can have a positive impact on the world that is surrounding us. I am very comfortable with public speaking as well as teamwork. I'm fluent in French, English and Arabic. I hope to have the chance to connect with a wide range of ambitious people who share my interests for health, science and the natural world. On another hand I enrolled in the Canadian Armed Forces in 2018, where I currently occupy the rank of Master Corporal as a Combat Engineer.
