Patricia Hafeez Ahmed Gomez

I am a passionate designer who likes taking on challenges and problem solving. I have experience managing and directing large teams and I am hoping to take my leadership and design skills to bring value to a design firm and gain experience. 

I come from a background of project management in which I have led a team of 53 workers as a supervisor in Centreville Amusement Park. I led and trained the team to ensure smooth operations as well as took on event planning roles when booking in large groups to visit the park. Additionally, I used my design skills to improve customer’s understanding of menus and signs around the park. The graphics I created successfully sped up service time and helped both workers and customers interact smoothly. I was also recognized as one of Canada’s top 73 student leaders in the 2021 Loran Award. 

In addition to the leadership skills I continue to grow, I am proficient at using Adobe Suite: Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Adobe Xd. I also continue to learn Solidworks, AutoCad, SketchU, Keyshot  and Blender. I am a fast learner, strong team player and can easily adapt to any given situation. I like exploring different solutions to problems and enjoy prototyping and model making with foam, cardboard, wood and metal. I truly believe I bring a wide range of skills and experience working in the service industry that I can use to support any company's staff and gain experience in the field I am passionate about. 

I am currently working towards a Bachelor in Industrial Design with a minor in Arts Management
