Peter Eshemogie

I have a strong foundation in community support and youth engagement through various volunteer experiences. I’ve worked as a child caretaker, helping to support children's development in safe and nurturing environments. I also coached youth soccer, which strengthened my leadership and teamwork skills. During the summers, I assisted at camps, organizing activities and ensuring the safety of all participants. These experiences have deepened my passion for helping others and led me to pursue a career in medical social work. I continue to build on these skills through my education and leadership opportunities, such as applying for a Resident Don position.

I am currently pursuing post-secondary education with a focus on social work, where I am developing a strong understanding of health, equity, and community care. My coursework has included topics such as social determinants of health, ethics in social work, and the needs of diverse populations including children, older adults, and marginalized communities.
