Recent restructure is a result of company's growth by 200% and allows me to focus on Payroll, Audit Controls, 
Compliance, and Payroll Data Integrity while guiding and supporting a team of payroll analysts.
Key Responsibilities and Achievements:
Leadership & Team Management: Lead a team of payroll analysts responsible for day-to-day payroll processing 
and acted as the approver of all payrolls.
Compliance & Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with HR policies, multiple negotiation agreements, 
and employment standards.
Financial Oversight: Reviewe and approve roughly $150 million in annual compensation for Canadian, US, and 
retiree payrolls.
Budget & Forecasting: Participate in the preparation of budget and forecast for salaries, wages, taxable benefits, 
WCB, federal and provincial statutory remittances.
Audit & Data Integrity: Ensured all payroll and HR data audit controls were met and liaised with government, 
internal and external auditors.
Process Improvement: Streamlined employee onboarding and offboarding processes with IT, Finance, Safety, 
and facilities using various system integrations and ServiceNow workflows.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborated with HR teams on offer letter reviews, service award program, benefits 
administration, compensation policies, and employee programs.
Financial Reconciliation: Reconciled all payroll general ledger accounts and ensured timely payment of monthly 
and quarterly dues to CRA accounts, WCB, United Way, and annual preparation and balancing of T4s.
System Enhancements: Led system updates, enhancements, and integrations with other HR or finance systems.
Communication & Training: Prepared communication materials, training sessions, and presentations to assist the 
workforce in understanding pay policies, work rules, timesheets, modified schedules, and payroll calendars.
Leadership Development: Enhanced leadership skills through workshops such as Foundations of Leadership

Managed the company-wide United Way Campaign, auto taxable benefit reporting, and recociled CRA and WCB 
for year-end processing.
