Chemical Engineer – Engineering Department at Lincoln Electric, Mississauga

January 2020 – Present

• Aluminum plant: worked at Lincoln electric, an aluminum manufacturing plant for two years at Mississauga in the engineering department and furnace area and lead my team to success
• Process development: improved the quality of water by researching the chemicals and their dosage that were best equipped for the process. This led to a better quality of water for the casting process and manufacturing development, and increased the heat exchange efficiency of copper wheel to solidify aluminum metal. Quality of water was improved by incorporating different variables of chemical dosages (researched and executed independently)
• Problem solving: daily input on changing the dosage of chemicals and oil concentrations for water project and emotion project, tailored specifically for the alloy manufactured for the day
• R&D: R&D on emulsion for aluminum alloys, implemented filtration process that extended the life of the emulsion from three months to one year, saving $50,000 per year for the company
• Experience with engineering contractors: Extensive experience in interacting with engineering contractors for the projects
• Project management: have experience of project manager to improve the air quality of the plant. I was responsible for managing a project budgeting $30,000. Solid knowledge on budgeting and accounting system
• P&ID: experience in Solid Edge to create a layout for the water system and emulsion system of the entire plant
• Health and safety: strong adherence to safety protocols (mentored for three years on health and safety in the workplace). A certified member of joint health and safety committee for two years. A total of five years of experience in health and safety.
• Transportation of dangerous goods: a certified member for transportation of dangerous goods
• First Aid: First aid – CPR certified 

• Over 3+ years of experience with managing industrial projects (water project, emulsion project, improving air quality project, implementation of KANBAN, project lead for R&D for HPBR project) 
• Perform process improvement analysis to identify potential manufacturing inefficiencies and work with team members to identify opportunities for improvement, develop solutions, and execute them in a timely fashion.
