1.  Greeting customers: Cashiers are responsible for greeting customers as they enter the store approach the register, making them feel welcome and appreciated.
2.  Scanning and bagging items: Cashiers are responsible for scanning and bagging items that customer are purchasing, ensuring that prices are correct and items are properly packaged.
3. Accepting payments: Cashiers are responsible for accepting payments from customers, which may include cash, credit/debit cards, and checks.
4. Making change: Cashiers are responsible for making change for customers, ensuring that transactions are processed accurately and efficiently.
5. Providing customer service: Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
6. Following store policies and procedures: Cashiers are responsible for following store policies and procedures, including security procedures and cash-handling protocols.
7. Assisting customers: Sales floor associates are responsible for assisting customers with their purchases. This may include helping customers find products, answering questions, and providing advice on purchases.
8. Stocking shelves: Sales floor associates are responsible for stocking shelves with products, ensuring that products are properly displayed, and that the store is well-stocked.
9. Maintaining the store: Sales floor associates are responsible for ensuring that the store is clean and organized, and that products are displayed in an attractive manner.
10. Processing transactions: Sales floor associates are responsible for processing customer transactions, which may involve using a cash register or other point-of-sale system.
