As a senior scientific specialist with Manitoba Department of Environment’s Hazardous Waste Program, I am responsible for providing strategic planning including the development of provincial programs, policies, legislation, procedures, standards, and guidelines. My progressive practical experience in industrial pollution control specializing in regulatory compliance, hazardous waste management and environmental impact assessment and has provided me with experience in coordination and implementation of environmental improvement projects including the technical cooperation projects executed by the multilateral international environmental organizations. Education credentials earned include M.Sc. in Environmental Science and the varied coursework has expanded my knowledge of pollution control, environmental law, environmental management, hazardous waste management and environmental impact assessment.
