About Rene Victorino:
Over 30 years of work experience in exploration, development and mining for various deposits of epithermal precious and base metals, porphyry Cu-Au, Ni laterite, niobium, and thermal and anthracite coal. Global exposures include assignments in variousregions in Asia, East Central Africa, Colorado, Nevada and Utah in the U.S.A., British Columbia and the Yukon Territory in Canada, and Peru and Argentina in South America. Professional career track has gone through appointments to various technical and administrative management roles in diversified global mineral resource development companies. Received a degree in Geology from the University of the Philippines-Diliman in 1985 then completed a Master’s degree in Business Administration (With Distinction) from the Ateneo Graduate School of Business. Rene is a Registered Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) with the Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia.

Global field exposures include assignments in various regions in the Philippines, Indonesia, Mongolia, East Central Africa, British Columbia and the Yukon Territory in Canada, Colorado and Nevada, USA and Peru and Argentina in South America. Professional career has gone through appointments to various technical and administrative management roles in diversified global mineral resource development companies like Philex Mining Corp., Atlas Consolidated Mining, Phelps Dodge Corp. (now Freeport McMoRan), TVI Resources, Hunter Dickinson, Inc., Taseko Mines, Ltd., and the Archean Group of India. Registered as a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of British Columbia, Canada(APEGBC). Various work involvements include direct participation in technical assessments and over-all management of reconnaissance to detailed-scale exploration projects, and extending into the initial mine development stages. Extensivemining industry experience has developed expertisein project management and mineral property evaluations which proved vital on decisions concerning property acquisition, retention or abandonment and/or the judicious drive into mine development. Widely exposed in multi-cultural environments, easily develops good rapport with colleagues, and always an active and effective participant in the completion of any project.
