Rim Bouatlaoui

As a 20-year-old student who is passionate about filmmaking, I believe that this internship would provide me with valuable hands-on experience and help me further my career goals.

I have always been fascinated by the art of storytelling through film and have been honing my skills in this field through various projects and coursework. As a student, I have gained a strong foundation in the technical aspects of filmmaking, such as cinematography, lighting, and editing. I am also knowledgeable in various film production software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro.

My passion for filmmaking goes beyond just the technical aspects. I am equally passionate about the creative and artistic side of the process, from concept development to the final cut. I believe that the combination of my technical skills and creative vision make me a valuable asset to any film production team.

My work experience includes interning at 2M TV in Casablanca where I discovered the world of radio and learned the art of editing and voice doubling in the field of information from February 2018 to March 2018.  I then worked as a hostess at The Doorz Escape Game in Casablanca where my responsibilities included customer appointment management, prospecting customers, and coordinating events and trainings from May 2019 to October 2019. My most recent work experience was at Starbucks where I worked as a barista, greeting customers in a friendly manner, taking orders, and staying up to date on the latest brewing trends and recipes in a fast-paced environment from November 2021 to December 2022

 

I have been pursuing my education in both Morocco and Canada, and have also taken advantage of an exchange program in Singapore to broaden my knowledge and skills. 

My education includes:

• Lycee Lyautey in Casablanca, Morocco where I obtained my Baccalaureat Francais from September 2017 to June 2020.
• A B.A in Political Science and Communications from the University of Ottawa in Ottawa, Canada from September 2020 to April 2024.
• An exchange program at the National University of Singapore in Singapore from January 2023 to May 2023.
