Federal Mogul is a U.S based MNC that manufactures Pistons , Piston Rings and Piston Pins for the automotive sector.

• I was assigned the quality control department where the task was to minimize scrap produced in pistons due to Skirt diameter defect , Operation Missing defect and Transportation defect.
• As a quality control intern I was given the task design an SOP which would help in reducing the scrap production and ultimately result in optimizing the production.
• After applying the new SOP the scrap reduction rate showed a decrease from 1.20% to 0.64%.

3 Months I worked as a data analyst for a social media start up company , which has given me valuable insights and helped me develop an interest in the field.

• Project 1: Line Follower Robo-Car; A course curriculum group activity where we programmed an Arduino controlled Robo-car to follow a black stripped track using infrared and ultrasonic sensors and using a Zigbee module as remote controller.
• Project 2: Mangonel; constructed a Roman Mangonel using tools and materials. Redesigning the throwing arm of the mangonel to optimize for distance without compromising the structural integrity.
• Project  3: CAD Modelling ; Designed and analyzed various object and corrections in Designs were made where ever it was felt necessary. 
• Project 4: Developed A business Model on Renting of Electrical and Electronic Appliances. Cost structure and Marketing strategy was developed.

Data Entry Project: Completed a data entry project during coursework, accurately entering and organizing data into a spreadsheet, demonstrating attention to detail and precision in data management
