Engineering / Architecture
About Ross Millar:
Engineering, problem solving and working with others is what I love. Give me a problem and let me try and solve it.
I like to work hard and play hard. I love my sports and socializing with my network of many friends from university, work and high school.
Experience
I have worked with the public at a boat operation, at a doughnut business and at a blueberry farm in various worker and management roles, which helped me build confidence to start my professional career. I have worked as a fire Assay Technician at Bureau Veritas in Vancouver, B.C. and as a transportation Engineering intern with the District of North Vancouver. I have managed a crosswalk installation, worked with CAD for infrastructure installations, designed and analyzed roadways, and developed an app for street sign inventory. Consulting with contractors and property owners for municipal projects.
Education
I have just completed my 3rd year of my civil engineering focused Bachelor of Applied Science Degree at UBC.
