About Roxy Inbar:

Hello! I just graduated from the University of Victoria with a BA in Psychology, and I am looking for ways to put my passion for helping people in a work environment. My strongest skills are effective communication, compassion, organization, and attention to detail.

Experience

NeurAlive Counselling and Neurofeedback - Administrative Assistant

  • As an Administrative Assistant, I managed a variety of tasks including billing, scheduling, and customer support through phone calls and in office. I also supported clients seeking Neurofeedback, ensuring they felt safe as I facilitated their sessions. Lastly, I assisted in the facilities cleaning duties to create a welcoming environment for all clients and staff.

PISE - Physical Literacy Leader

  • In this role, I created a safe and fun environment for children ages 4-12 to develop
fundamental movement skills. My position also required me to problem-solved conflicts, attended to daily chores, and contribute to team projects that enhanced the facilities daily activities.

Percy's Clubhouse - Childcare Leader

  • As a Childcare Leader, I was able to be a positive role model and caretaker for children ages 5-10 at an out of school program. I learned how to connect and establish trusting relationships with both children, staff, and parents. I also contributed to group activities that ensured a fun and safe environment.

Clubz In-Home Tutoring - Social Media Manager

  • In this position, I managed and scheduled all social media posts via Facebook and created
weekly automatic emails through Mailchimp to build a positive and
proactive reputation of the company attract future clients.

Education

I recently obtained my Bachelors in Psychology at the University of Victoria. During my time there, I learned valuable skills and knowledge through classes such as “Skills For Effective Interpersonal Communication”, and “Clinical Intervention, Prevention, and Health Promotion”. These courses, among many others, enhanced my knowledge on human development, behaviour, emotion, as well as various ethical and practical considerations for various clinical practices.
