Team player and can work alone. Organized two 1st ever 10k races for volunteer organizations (MADD Ottawa and Ottawa Humane Society). Answered phones, dealt with general public inquiries. Initiated innovative ways to meet deadlines for grant applications. Heavily participated in volunteer Boards of Directors initiatives. Studied rules for and putting into place the outlined procedures to bring in international PhD doctors and students to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. Responsible for U of O Hrt Inst Research Centre budget. Prepared paper for intellectual property submission.
Education
On the job learning experiences initiated by myself, 4 year BA program sociology/psychology, Memorial University, 6 month Executive Assistant training at Heritage College Ottawa.
