RF Hardware Design Engineer Nooelec Inc, Newmarket, Canada

May 2023 – Present 

In my role as a RF hardware design engineer, I undertook various tasks:

1) Designed, simulated, and developed PCB layouts for various Nooelec products, including filters, amplifiers, clocking circuits, frequency converters, and SDR receivers, for applications in sub-1 GHz, L-band, S-band, and C-band frequency ranges. 

2) Continuous Improvements in Nooelec products that are already released through feedback from customers and testers.  

3) Simulations and PCB verification on 3D EM analysis software ADS RFPro alongwith testing and troubleshooting of prototype designs. 

4) Familiar with complete RF product cycle from concept to production alongwith quality control of released devices. 

 

Design Engineer (RF&MW) RWR Private Limited, Islamabad, Pakistan

 Jul 2018 – Aug 2022  

In my role as a design engineer, I undertook various tasks: 

  1. Designing RF circuits and PCB layout for high frequency applications
  2.  Simulated L-band passive filters using ADS and 3D EM analysis software CST
  3. Bring up and testing of active RF Front End Board and its control integration.
  4. Systems integration and testing of transceiver chain that included amplifier, filters, RF switches, mixer and active circuits.
  5. Responsible for environmental stress screening (ESS) tests of RF system for product validity that was completed successfully.
  6. Implementing Quality Assurance (QA) measures by documenting testing procedures, conducting analyses, and verifying the final product's validity
