I just finished my Ph.D. degree in Forestry-Science Program at Lakehead University this January and starting to find a full-time job related to forest management.
Experience
forest plot establishment; plant species diversity investigation; plant organ collection; leaf, roots, coarse woody debris decay; soil profile investigation; precipitation alteration set up; weather station by Watchdog set up and data collection; in-situ root scanning by CI-600; soil respiration measurement by LI-COR 6000; forest thinning; basic physicochemical properties of samples (e.g.: soil water content and pH); heavy metal elements in plants and soil (ICP machine), soil carbon and nutrients; soil microbial biomass carbon/nitrogen (TOC-L machine), cellulose (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography) and lignin; root analysis by RootSnap! software and Winrhizo software; data analysis (R studio).
