I am a dedicated English teacher with experience in helping students improve their English language vocabulary, reading comprehension, and writing. Proven track record of encouraging students to master English while also nurturing their love of the language. Bringing forth years of experience, combined with a passion for serving as an effective educator and helping students to achieve proficiency in the English language. I have taught students in beginner, pre-intermediate, and upper-intermediate level groups. I have written versatile lesson plans using the Common Core standards and the local curriculum guide and incorporated daily assessment opportunities. I have experience in explaining difficult concepts in terms students can understand. I have also provided appropriate feedback to students in a tactful way that inspires, encourages, and motivates them to learn and excel. I also am also very skilled at building rapport with students and effectively communicating with parents about their child's progress. 

I have a bachelor degree in English from York University and a CELTA certified from the University of Cambridge
