I’m a biotechnology specialist and operations lead with experience across genomics, AI-driven research, and accredited laboratory environments. In my current role at Intertek’s Food Testing Laboratory, I oversee daily operations, resource planning, and the delivery of high-quality analytical services, ensuring compliance with ISO, AOAC, and CFIA standards. My background spans molecular biology, genomics, and early-stage AI model development, giving me a unique ability to bridge scientific depth with operational execution. I’m driven by solving complex technical challenges, building efficient systems, and advancing innovative technologies that create real-world impact across life sciences and AI.

I have diverse experience across biotechnology, accredited laboratory operations, and AI-driven research. I currently lead operations at Intertek’s Food Testing Laboratory, managing workflows, compliance, budgets, and client-facing technical support across microbiology and chemistry. Previously, I worked in genomics and AI innovation, contributing to early-stage model development, grant strategy, and technical validation for emerging life-science applications. Alongside this, I have experience in startup environments, venture collaboration, and project management, bringing together scientific depth, operational leadership, and a strong ability to execute in fast-paced, multidisciplinary settings.

I hold a Master of Science in Biotechnology, where I focused on advanced molecular biology, genomics, and applied research, and a Bachelor of Science in Biology with strong foundational training in biochemistry, genetics, and analytical lab methods.
