Working in senior care homes at LutherCare Communities, and Sienna Senior Living has been a truly meaningful experience for me. I’ve had the opportunity to support residents in their daily lives, ensuring they feel comfortable, safe, and valued. Whether it’s assisting with personal care, engaging in conversations, or just being there to listen, I’ve learned how important patience, empathy, and human connection are in this field.

One thing I’ve realized is that I thrive in roles where I can make a difference in people’s lives. Working in senior care has taught me the importance of emotional intelligence and attentiveness. I take pride in being someone people can rely on, whether it’s a resident needing reassurance or a colleague needing support.

I think my ability to adapt and connect with people in different environments makes me a strong team player. No matter where I work, my goal is always to contribute positively and make the experience better for those around me.
