I have over ten years of experience in data analysis, fraud risk management, and business intelligence, in the IT and telecom industries. I worked at MTN Group from 2012 to 2024, starting as a Data Analyst and later advancing to the role of Business Intelligence Analyst.

My expertise includes working with large datasets using advanced SQL, Python, and ETL tools like KNIME to extract, clean, and analyze transactional and behavioral data. I’ve developed and optimized fraud detection controls, conducted root cause analysis, and collaborated with cross-functional teams to enhance system capabilities and reduce operational risks.

I also have strong experience in UAT testing, dashboard creation using tools like Power BI, Tableau, and Oracle BI, and have led projects that resulted in improved system performance and fraud detection rates. My work has contributed to recovering over $20 million in revenue leakages and improving fraud detection efficiency by up to 20%.

I hold a Master’s degree in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) with a focus on Information Technology and Secured Communication from the University of Science and Technology. I also have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Azad University. In addition, I’ve completed multiple professional certificates in data science, Python programming, SQL, fraud management, Oracle BI, and network security, which have strengthened my technical and analytical skills for roles in data analysis and fraud detection.
