Sanchi Sehgal

To shortly introduce myself, my name is Sanchi Sehgal, I will be receiving my Bachelor’s of Business Administration degree with Accounting major from University of the Fraser Valley in Abbotsford in June 2023. I am aiming towards attaining the designation of CPA.

I work as Front- End Cashier at Walmart and my job duties include:

• Monitor self-checkout systems and provide assistance or intervention when required.
• Monitor new team members on POS system operation, customer service strategies, and sales goals.
• Collect and authorize payments of guests.
• Check identification for proof of age for alcohol sales.
• Operate cash register for cash, cheque, and credit card transactions with excellent accuracy levels.
• Promote customer loyalty and consistent sales by delivering friendly service and knowledgeable assistance.
• Perform cash, card and check transactions to complete customer purchases.
• Responsible for primary roles of scanning coupons, applying for discounts, and processing payments.
• Learn duties for various positions and provide backup at key times.
• Maintain current knowledge of store promotions and highlight sales to customers.
