Sandya Vaigundam Sadasivam

I'm doing my graduate program in Computer Science at UNB, Fredericton. I possess 2.5 years of experience in software development and interested in exploring Big Data, Machine Learning, Data Analytics and developing web applications. Currently looking for Summer 2023 co-ops.

I have demonstrated my proficiency in various languages and technologies such as Python, JavaScript, NodeJS, RabbitMQ and AWS S3. I have worked on multiple projects like Asset Tracker, CRM and Trip Tracker during my employment, where I enjoyed developing backend APIs with new business logic, building complex queries using PostgreSQL and integrating them into the production environment. Moreover, I attended on-calls to guarantee customer satisfaction by optimizing and fixing bugs. I also participated in Scrum meetings, standup calls, and client meetings, which taught me the importance of meeting deadlines and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Currently pursuing MCSC (Masters of Computer Science by Coursework) at UNB. I did my Bachelor's in Computer Science at Amrita School of Engineering, India. As part of my undergraduate program, developed a ML project on Detecting Cyberbullies using Twitter Sentiment Analysis.
