Liz is a versatile musician with extensive experience as a pianist, accompanist, educator, and arranger. She holds an undergraduate and a master’s degree in Piano Performance. Recently, she completed a second master’s degree in Music Education.
With over a decade of teaching experience, Liz is a passionate music educator who has taught at reputable schools such as Escuela de Musica Victoriano Lopez, Valdosta State University’s Valdosta String Project, and the University of Alabama’s Community Music School. She believes that teaching music is not only about imparting knowledge and skills, but also about fostering creativity, curiosity, and a lifelong love of music. Liz’s teaching approach is characterized by patience, empathy, and a deep commitment to her students’ success. She encourages her students to explore their musical interests and develop their own unique voices.
Liz’s philosophy centers on the idea that music is not just a form of entertainment but a powerful tool for personal growth, self-expression, and cultural enrichment. She strives to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that encourages students to explore their musical interests and develop their own unique voices. Through her teaching, Liz hopes to inspire the next generation of musicians and music lovers.
