6 years Dog Grooming experience:

Loving and persistent Groomer with substantial knowledge with lots of different dog breeds. Working independently with minimal supervision. Expert with just under 6 years of experience in pet grooming industry. Committed to providing professional and hygienic grooming environment for pets and owners. Enthusiastic and determined to work hard in fast-paced environments. Team-driven and compassionate towards all animals. I follow an effect process for bathing and grooming dogs, ensuring all the dirt, impacted hair, fleas and ticks and matting are safely removed. Through PetSmart I groom 6 dogs a day, with a receptionist to check in and out my dogs i groom 7 dogs a day. I groom dogs of all stages of life, whether it be puppies and helping them gain confidence in the salon, all the way to senior dogs and tending to their needs during visits. I also groom dogs with health issues, making sure to keep a watchful eye on them during services to prevent or catch and symptoms that could arise. Experience with grooming health issues dogs are, seizures, cancer, end of life, heart murmurs, blind, deaf, fleas and ticks, Lyme disease, enlarged hearts, skin issues and allergies, ear infections, dental issues, arthritis, and dogs who have healed from surgeries and need an extra helping hand.

Sales Associate experience:

Great communication and customer service skills, talking to customers to find the right products for them or answering any of their questions and or concerns. Opening and closing  shop. Opening up shop includes setting up the register and POS system, making sure everything is in a neat and tidy order, cleaned and ready for business. Closing duties would include counting out the tills for the day, making bank deposits for the shop, cleaning the entirety of the shop and having it ready for the opener the next day. During midday shifts, making sure shelves where not bare, stocking and inventory, first in first out, answering the phone and ensuring the customer was satisfied with my answers to their questions or needs, cleaning throughout the day. 

I have worked at PetSmart salons for a total of 4 years, and two privately owned salons for a total of 2 years. I am a Canadian Professional Pet Stylist (CPPS). I have also worked at doggy day camp within PetSmart when it was previously available when extra help was needed and did the camp training through PetSmart. 

Retail and sales associate experience ranges from PetValu (1year), Starbucks (3 years in total as I had moved and then was rehired a year later), along with other small seasonal positions including BathandBodyWorks, LazyOne (pajama store), West49, and TimHortons

Support worker for Bayfield. A foster company aiding with Children and their families (1 year).
