 Developing and Implementing commodity strategies to ensure long-term and sustainable agreement to minimize 
the overall cost and ensuring reliable on-time supply of materials in the required quality. 
 Procurement of Recurrent & Tailor-made technical specification materials.

 Creating Strategy Sourcing Plans with Road maps based on Management /Stakeholder’s requirement.

 Supporting buyers in creating contractual Terms and condition for regular negotiation. 
 Involving shortlisted suppliers in the early stage of product development/manufacturing process. 
 Monitoring current market prices to minimize the overall costs. 
 Creating performance parameters for suppliers, based on Quality, Price, Delivery commitments & Service. 
 Periodic performance evaluation and monitoring of supplier and sharing reports to management. 
 Releasing Market information /intelligent report to team on monthly basis. 
 Monitoring current product’s Market prices. 
 Risk Monitoring /Analyzing and Creating Risk Mitigations Plans. 
 Creating and Maintaining Supplier Data Base. 
 Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to suppliers for assigned commodity (Orders & resolution of major issues). 
 Arranging cost-analysis workshops, innovation workshops and concept competitions with key suppliers.

 Created annual rate contracts for cables, with successful yearly price reduction of 7% (appx 4.5 million CAD 
reduction). 
 Successfully developed new vendors in transformer commodity for Data center projects, which resulted in 
winning of 72.5 million CAD worth orders. 
 Frame agreements were created with major suppliers for 120 days payment terms. 
 Implemented proposal approval system from manual to online for EA project Unit. 
 Successfully executed Tail Spend Management Project and reduced the number of vendors by 30%. 
 Promoted from Project Procurement Manager to Commodity Procurement Manager.

Schneider Electric Ltd (India) ► Deputy Procurement Manager – Projects 06/2014 to 05/2019 
 Handled Project Procurement of Solar and Power distribution projects (66KV to 220KV level). 
 Leaded the Solar procurement team of 5 buyers. 
 Supported sales team by arranging best negotiated prices from vendor in bidding phase for winning the orders. 
 Supported project team in executions phase with best contractual terms &conditions, prices and on time delivery. 
 Volume of the business handled (100 million CAD). 
Key Activities:
 Bidding Phase: Activities starts from Prebid meeting with internal Stake holders, Strategy Sourcing Plans, 
Support in preparing BOQ, Floating RFQ / RFI, arranging quotations, evaluation of quotation, technical 
meetings with suppliers, Comparisons, Negotiations and bid support back-to-back arrangements. 
 Execution Phase: Strategy meetings with project and bidding team for further cost savings, re-negotiations, 
creating purchase order, arranging drawings & technical datasheets for customer approval, scheduling 
inspection, issuing dispatch clearance, arranging good receipt notes from site and ensuring vendor’s payment. 
Achievements & Recognition: 
 Procured materials & services for solar projects (approx. 800MW) with overall 12% price reduction and on 
time delivery as committed to customer. 
 Successfully executed 200MW project as a project Manager (In Special deputation). 
 Implemented ERP system in the Solar Business Unit. 
 Recognized as Champion in Effective category of 2018. 
 Active member of Champion’s club in 2017. 
 Recognized as High performer of 2016 & 2015. 
Areva T&D (Alstom) Ltd (India) ► Engineer – Project procurement 08/2011 to 06/2014 
 Responsible for Project Procurement of Sub Station and Power distribution project (66KV to 132KV level). 
 Responsible for Vendor Identification & Selection & development. 
 Responsible for Creating delivery schedule plans (L2 and L3 Schedules). 
 Responsible for Logistics arrangement of Goods.

Amara Raja Power System Ltd (India) ► Engineer – Sales & Marketing 07/2009 to 08/2011 
 Responsible for marketing and sale of battery, battery charger and LT Panels, Control and Relay Panels. 
 Responsible for Govt Tenders, E-bidding and negotiating with customer for finalizing the orders. 
 Handled direct business & channel partner business. 
 Responsible for field service team of north region.
