- Developed novel electrically conductive and flexible ceramic membranes for fouling control which showed superior fouling mitigation on an application of intermittent potentials.
- Novel cathode electrocatalyst fabrication; achieved low Tafel slopes and overpotentials compared to several of the existing ones.
- Testing and characterization of membranes for microfiltration, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis.
- Cell culture, bacterial assessment of novel materials for bacteria; antibacterial efficacy of membranes.
- Writing research grants and proposals for center funding.
- Making SOPs and risk assessment documents for chemicals and lab equipment.
- Planning design of experiments to develop novel materials through existing scalable fabrication procedures to fulfil performance standards.
- Ensuring safe running of equipment in the laboratory used for material synthesis and characterization to get maximum efficiency out of the operating conditions.

Graduate Research Assistant at Advanced Nano Fibers Laboratory 2014-2018
- Achieved breakthrough results for electrospun hydrocracking nano zeolite fibers when compared with conventional industrial catalysts; PhD. Thesis in collaboration with ADNOC refining research center (ARRC).
- Studied the structural evolution-property relationship of electrocatalytic nanofibers for hydrogen evolution in acidic and alkaline media.
- Controlling swelling behavior of Poly (Vinyl) Alcohol via Networked Cellulose and its application as a reverse osmosis membrane.
