I have a degree in agricultural animal science technology, 3 years experience as a vet assistant, and 5 years experience working with livestock in a farm environment.

This experience has given me a passion for animal welfare and vast array of expertise when it comes to animal behaviour, grooming, training, husbandry, nutrition, and veterinary health analysis and diagnosis.

I am excited to be a part of any aspect of your team as I am versatile, passionate, and a fast learner.

Vet assistant (3 years)

Assist veterinarians and vet technicians with all veterinary procedures and surgeries. Handle animal in safe, stress free manner during visit. Maintain proper kennel cleanliness, give medication, feed and take care of animals throughout day. Provide education to owners regarding animal health and behaviour. Bathe and groom dogs in various physical conditions and aggressions.

Agricultural animal science degree, lakeland college (2 years)

In this course i was educated in proper animal welfare, housing, behaviour, physiology and industry standards. 

Student managed farm program allowed us to work hands on with various livestock everyday, maintaining a exemplary animal welfare experience.
