• Develop, implement, and monitor performance metrics for transportation, shipping, receiving, and heavy-equipment operations.
• Create, monitor, and prepare daily report and updates on key tasks of QIL.
• Prepare service descriptions and service proposals to clients, also follow up with clients on services quoted or rendered.
• Follow-up on contract award with the client and ensures that any questions are answered in accordance with the company's policies.
• Follow-up and investigate on client concerns or special requests and provide direction.
• Assist in the negotiation and management of contracts and service agreements with third party suppliers and/or service providers as requested.
• Suggest and prepare proposals for new services in line with market demand.
• Monitor stock of supplies and order supplies as needed.
• Ensure list of employees for insurance is updated on a continual basis.
• Works to ensure a clear understanding of procedures and processes.
• Assign tasks and provide direction to logistical staff.
• Communicate the organizations safety policies in accordance with applicable federal safety standards and local laws.
• Organize daily operational  meetings to  communicate  upcoming tasks  and  staffing requirements as directed.
• Assisting with and hiring staff on a needed basis.
• Participation in employee discipline as situations as requested.
• Assists in annual budget preparation and business plans.
• Review month ends statements and reports, participate in collections procedures as needed.
