I bring over twenty years of experience in the education sector, working within provincial and federal educational systems. My expertise includes a deep understanding of K-8 curriculum outcomes and a solid foundation in 9-12 curriculum standards. In my most recent role as a Technology Educator and Literacy Catalyst, I led Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) and supported classroom teachers in effectively implementing the provincial curriculum. This involved bridging educational research, theory, and practical classroom applications.

I played a pivotal role in advising and facilitating the school's literacy goals and programs, which enhanced parental engagement in literacy initiatives. Additionally, I planned and coordinated technology literacy programs focusing on Media Balance, Privacy & Security, Digital Identity, Cyberbullying & Hate Speech, Relationships & Communication, and News & Media Literacy.

My strong problem-solving skills, coupled with my dedication to teamwork, underscore my commitment to education. I possess an in-depth understanding of the Danielson Framework and prioritize professionalism and ethical standards in operations management. My focus on leadership development is geared toward fostering and mentoring future leaders.

I hold certifications in OHS Standard First Aid, CPR-B, and AED, and I am adept at file and record maintenance. As a Google Certified Educator at Levels 1 and 2, I am a quick and efficient learner, driven to succeed. I am also knowledgeable in cultural protocols and adhere to the Circle of Courage Model, reflecting my commitment to lifelong learning.

I hold a Doctorate in Educational Administration and a Master's in Indigenous Educational Administration from the University of Saskatchewan. With over twenty years of experience in the field, I am dedicated to advocating for children, families, and the overall success of educational institutions. My fervour for learning has enabled me to cultivate valuable competencies as an educational leader. I provide strategic leadership in developing culturally responsive learning environments that align with provincial curriculum outcomes.

The role of an educational leader is immensely fulfilling. Whether it involves teaching students to promote positivity, supporting staff in reaching their full potential, collaborating with colleagues to enhance programs, or fostering respectful relationships, I remain steadfast in my commitment to providing consistent direction.
