I am a hard-working, passionate professional, who is always eager to learn. 

I have been working in the field of Bylaw Enforcement for over 8 years. I have been accountable for dealing with civilian complaints pertaining to parking, homelessness, untidy and unsightly properties, zoning issues, and permits and licensing, among other responsibilities. I am proud of my interpersonal communication skills, which are complimented by my fluency in two different languages. I am well aware of the importance of problem solving and conflict resolution skills that are required of Bylaw officers. So, I have a strong capability of de-escalating problematic situations due to my years of experience in the field. 

05/15/2015 to Present: Parking Services Officer (City of White Rock, BC)

• Patrolling city streets, hospital and beaches for parking infractions
• Checking and fixing pay stations, handling money and audit reports from pay stations 
• Chalking cars parked in time limited zones
• Conducting investigations regarding complaints received from residents
• Writing detailed notes for files

11/15/2022 to 11/17/2023: Bylaw Enforcement Officer (Township of Langley, BC)

• Working with local Homeless population to provide opportunities for outreach and relocation
• Enforcing Highway and Traffic Bylaws within the Township of Langley
• Attending to Zoning Bylaw complaints involving unsightly private properties
• Working with other departments within the Township such as: Parks, Roads and Building & Permits to resolve various issues.
• Working with other community members such as the local police department and local outreach societies
• Writing detailed reports for Bylaw investigations and adjudications
• Communicating verbally and digitally with the general public to educate individuals about the Township’s Bylaws

01/29/2015 to 5/30/2015: Concord Parking Officer contracted by the City (Surrey, BC)

• Patrolled the city streets and highways for parking infractions 
• Conducting investigations regarding complaints received from residents 
• Wrote detailed notes for served infraction tickets and attending court when needed
