Sheian Desilva

Hello! I am a 22 year old who is currently doing a post graduate program in Regulatory Affairs. I have a background in Nutrition and Nutraceuticals and I am looking for a Regulatory Affairs and/or QA/QC internship. 

While completing my education I worked as a lead sales associate at a retail company and a team lead manager for a contracting company. These jobs gave me the opportunity to work and learn on a variety of different skills that I believe match up very well with the requirements and expectations of this job regarding problem solving, self-management and a willingness to learn. In addition, the prioritization of good leadership, great organizational skills, and a strong initiative to deal with various work-related tasks as a team has built a great foundation for myself.

I completed my undergrad in Nutrition and Nutraceuticals at the University of Guelph. During my time there I became familiar with the ability to identify, collect, and collates information or data as well as excelled under the topics of chemistry, microbiology, and food science. When finishing my undergrad, I immediately enrolled in the Humber Regulatory Affairs graduate program. At this position I was taught how to conduct compliance verification of regulated products with major emphasis on new drug submissions, clinical applications and notice of compliance changes.
