Shivan menon

I am Shivan Raghu Menon, a student pursuing a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario. I hold a Bachelor of Art in Language and Literature from Mahatma Gandhi University in Kerala, India.

I have experience in both customer service and HR roles, having worked at U Mart Exprs Shoppe and Recruit NXT in India. My skills include recruitment, HR document management, confidentiality, and employee timesheet processing. I am also proficient in Microsoft Excel and excel at prioritizing tasks and managing multiple assignments simultaneously.

I am motivated and driven, always eager to learn and grow. I am currently seeking a co-op position to gain practical experience in HR, contribute to an organization's success, and further develop my professional skills.

As an HR Intern at Recruit NXT in Delhi, India, I conducted phone interviews, supervised reference checks and background screenings, and advertised job opportunities on social media. Through these roles, I developed strong skills in recruitment, HR document management, and employee relations.

I am currently pursuing a post-graduate certificate in Human Resources Management at Georgian College in Barrie, Ontario. This program has equipped me with the skills to coordinate, execute, and deliver HR programs related to recruitment, benefits, workers' compensation, and other HR projects. I also hold a Bachelor of Art in Language and Literature from Mahatma Gandhi University in Kerala, India.
