  • Performed a reverse engineering technique to fit the new concave mirror design based on new windshield data of vehicle within the existing HUD package using special HUD layout tool software which is compatible with CATIA V5
• Special Cluster Projects
  • Optimized a key heat transfer device applied in instrument cluster products. The scope involves researching into various treatment options and confirming the product performance in virtual & experimental studies. Based on the test results, an optimum solution considering the cost and performance factors using thermal analysis.
  • Performed steady state dynamic analysis on cluster structure in ABAQUS software to replicate the BSR concern reported by customer in the vehicle testing. 
  • Performed modal analysis on instrument cluster to understand the mounting tab stability to ensure the resonance frequency is above 120Hz and to understand the stress generated and displacement encountered by a structure under vibration load.
  • Cross functional team efforts to optimize the product cost. Examples include Thermal Interface Material optimization feasibility study utilizing FEA tool ABAQUS for thermal analysis
