My career profile illustrates that I am well prepared to meet your higher standards and expectations. Having served for four decades on several public health research, interventions, large scale national surveys (national nutrition surveys, national mortality surveys, etc.) and clinical randomised control trials projects both nationally and internationally I am accustomed to the rigors of fast-paced, highly regulated environments requiring sharp attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

I have worked over two decades as a senior monitoring, evaluation and training specialist for health and development projects in Pakistan and regional countries. I have independently led monitoring and evaluation assignments including large national surveys, mixed methods health systems assessments and community based studies as part of larger projects. I am extremely resourceful with project implementation, stakeholder engagement, government coordination and management of on-the ground fieldwork. I have an unusually strong grip on the health systems architecture of developing countries with several years of close working with UN organizations, governments and partners. I have also independently organized policy roundtables and advocacy meetings with policymakers. I have enormous capacity for work, is agile in meeting deadlines, is exacting in delivering work to a high standard and a proven valued member of any team operationally relied on for large, complex and strategic projects. 
I have conducted 55 national & international research and surveys projects and randomized control trials; key implementer 45, senior implementer 10. I have written around 200 grant proposals, made 300 presentations on key findings at national and int’l fora, trained over 5000 persons; master trainers, mid-level researchers and field interviewers So far published 17 manuscripts (lead author 1, co-author 16) and 65 technical reports (principal author 50, co-author 15).  As a specialist Qualitative Researcher, I have conducted and supervised more than 3000 In-depth Interviews and 2000 Focus Group Discussions of diverse participants ranging from Trash-Pickers Children to Parliamentarians.

The combination of my professional experience and education enable me to be a valuable contributor to any high standard public health research and policy organization. My loyalty with the organization and retention in the job is evident from the fact that my major part of professional career had passed in two organizations only viz. Aga Khan University (20 years) and Emesjay Research Institute (15 years).
